CHSAA GOLF LEAGUE 2013

Welcome back to the CHSAA Golf League. This year we have 20 teams in the league. This web page will list the news and stats for all CHSAA teams.

CHSAA State Championship: Friday May 31 at James Baird State Park 10 Am Shotgun start. * Players who have qualified will be posted on Tuesday May 21.

NYS Federation Championship: June 9 at Bethpage State Park (Black Course) 8:45 Am start.

State Qualifiers: **Players must confirm attendance/COACHES MUST CONFIRM NO LATER THE TUSDAY MAY 28 at 11Am.

Molloy JV Softball

Congratulations to the The Molloy JV Softball team who clinched the AA JV Bklyn Queens Division as they defeated Fontbonne Hall 12 - 2 to run their league record to 9 - 0 with one game to go!

Important Info regarding Girl Tennis Try-Outs

The Girls Tennis tryouts will begin on August 19th. We will have a week of tryouts Monday through Thursday of that week. The tryouts will be held from 10 am until 1pm every day of that week. Everyone who tries out must have a white card from the nurse which shows medical clearance and a NY City Tennis permit for the season.The medical card can be obtained from the school nurse. The permit can be obtained from the Parks and Recreation office at the Flushing Meadows (Billie Jean King) Tennis Center. The office is located near the #7 Subway stop and the Practice courts for the U.S. Open. The cost for the permit is $10.00 for students. The tryouts will be held at the Alley Pond Tennis Courts (Winchester Boulevard and Union Turnpike). A bus will leave

Girls Tennis Tryouts

Girls Tennis         August 19^th          Monday-Thursday                10:30 - 1:00 PM

A NYC Tennis Permit is needed to Tryout and practice with the team. Tennis Permits can be obtained at the National Tennis Office. Cost is $10.00

A bus from Molloy will be provided on 10:00 AM

Girls Soccer Tryouts

Please remember that the season practice continues each weekday through the start of school. The coach will provide a schedule for practice on the August 19^th.

CHSAA Senior Basketball Classic Rosters

Before this year’s ‘AA’ City Championship, seniors from the CHSAA had one last chance to showcase their basketball skills in the senior classic games played at Fordham University, the Bronx.

The Brooklyn and Queens schools were well represented. In a nice sendoff, the five seniors from Archbishop Molloy H.S., Briarwood, selected to the game had the chance to all play together on the same court one last time. Click here for the full artible from The Tablet.
